I became intrigued with massage therapy nearly two decades ago after receiving bodywork for chronic pain. A massage therapy program in VA accepted my enrollment, but circumstances kept me from attending at that time. My life was altered by a Lyme diagnosis, and I also became a mom. During those years, holistic treatment and other creative outlets helped me navigate new health requirements.
In 2023, with my husband and young son, I moved to the beautiful city of Asheville, NC. There I benefited immensely from receiving skilled, trauma-informed, therapeutic bodywork. Experiencing continuity of care in a safe space was influential in my own healing journey.
My passion for massage therapy grew until I decided to pursue my long-held dream of being a therapist. Going back to school while mothering was challenging but rewarding! In 2024, I graduated from the Center of Massage and Natural Health, becoming a licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist. Since then, I value consistent development of my skills, continuing education, and input from other professional therapists.
It is an honor to serve my clients with the massage therapy skills I have gained. My personal journey of recovery makes me extra-compassionate and attentive, with a deep desire to create safe and restorative sessions in which my clients receive exceptional care.
